Fightful Select reported that WWE was interested in signing AEW Women's Champion Dr. Britt Baker before she signed her recent contract extension.
The report also stated that the interest from the company was when they still were under the impression that Adam Cole's contract would end in late 2021.
#2 Former NBA star Satnam Singh has signed with AEW
Former Dallas Mavericks star Satnam Singh has signed with AEW. He was the first-ever NBA player from India.
Singh will now attend the Nightmare Factory to get trained under the tutelage of QT Marshall and Cody Rhodes. Tony Khan said the following in the official press release:
“In addition to Satnam’s commanding 7’3” stature, I was impressed with his high level of athleticism and charisma. He’s an exciting addition to our roster, and I’m looking forward to our fans getting to know Satnam’s personality and watching his development," said Tony Khan.
Satnam Singh was a part of the 2015 NBA Draft, drafted at 52nd by the Mavericks. He went on to play for the G-League affiliate of the Mavs, the Texas Legends, before returning to India after two years.
