A WWE legend has made a personal announcement on social media. Mercedes Mone, Sammy Guevara, and more wrestling personalities have reacted to it.
Rob Van Dam met his current wife, Katie Forbes, at WrestleCon in 2016. They started dating after Van Dam split from his former wife, Sonia Delbeck. Since then, the couple has moved on from this and got married in 2021.
Now, Katie Forbes and RVD have taken to social media to announce they are expecting their first child, due in 2026.

Mercedes Mone opened up about leaving WWE
Mercedes Mone first made a name for herself in WWE, where she was involved in several iconic moments. Despite her success in the company, she walked out due to creative differences in 2022. She then went on to sign with AEW in 2024.
During a recent edition of her Mone Mag newsletter, The CEO said that she never imagined her life without WWE, but she later realized that it was pro wrestling that she couldn't live without. She also said that she is proud to be one of the highest-paid women's wrestlers.
“Growing up, WWE was everything to me. I never imagined my life without it. But over time, I've come to realize that it's not WWE I can't live without... it's pro wrestling itself. I remember a higher-up once telling me, ‘The grass isn't greener on the other side.’ Well, let me tell you... every seed I've planted over the years is growing and flourishing like never before. Becoming the highest-paid women's wrestler is a beautiful flower that has blossomed, and I couldn't be prouder. Keep chasing your dreams because no one will stop mine.” Mone said. (H/T Mone Mag)
Mercedes Mone is set to challenge Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Championship at All In: Texas.
