At AEW Full Gear 2023 Pay-Per-View, Sting teamed with WWE Hall of Famer Adam Copeland and Darby Allin to take on the trio of Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne.

Ric Flair was at the ringside for the match to support his long-time friend. Upon his AEW debut last month, The Nature Boy had promised the WCW Legend that he would be by his side until his retirement at Revolution 2024.

During the trios match at Full Gear, there was a compelling spot in which Sting ran on the apron, jumped over Ric Flair, and landed on Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne outside the ring. The sequence left the 16-time World Champion amused.

Flair took to Twitter to share a video of the incident, which he called a Legendary moment, and said he was thrilled to be with The Icon:

"Another LEGENDARY Moment From #AEWFullGear! The Smile On My Face Says It All! I’m So Thrilled To Be By The Icon @Sting’s Side! WOOOOO! @AEW," Ric Flair wrote.

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker shares his take on Sting's career

During a recent interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, The Undertaker praised The Icon for his accomplishments during his legendary career and congratulated him for it. The former WWE Champion funnily claimed he would have "killed" Sting if they had ever met inside a ring.

"Yeah I would love to say, Sting, congratulations man, on just a spectacular career. I mean just one true icon of our industry. He's done everything, and like I said just the longevity of that character, just well done, and congratulations, and I hope retirement is everything that you want it to be and you deserve everything that you have and all the accolades, and yeah, I mean, he deserves it all... [One if he's faced him] I'd have killed him. Oh, man! Come on. He'd have got a Tombstone bro, he's going out after I'd planted him," The Undertaker said.

The Undertaker vs. Sting has been a dream match for many wrestling fans for decades due to their similar dark characters. The legends never crossed paths as they worked in different companies for most of their careers. When Sting joined WWE, The Deadman and The Vigilante were past their primes, and the match never happened.
