There have been a lot of debuts by former WWE Superstars in All Elite Wrestling recently. Another one was proposed to be included in the already stacked All In 2023 last August, but plans were changed. This was revealed by former WWE Superstar CJ Perry (FKA Lana).

Perry made her debut almost two months ago at All Out in Chicago, as she came in to save her husband Miro after Powerhouse Hobbs attacked him despite winning his match against him. After their reunion, The Redeemer and his wife have not been on good terms, going their separate ways in AEW.

While appearing on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, CJ Perry revealed that her husband had other plans for her AEW debut.

He wanted this to be at All In at Wembley Stadium, but Tony Khan had other ideas and wanted this to be a little over a week later at Chicago for All Out.

“Miro was pushing, a lot of this was his idea, a lot of the story. He wanted it to be in London, but Tony really had a vision for it to happen in Chicago, and he’s from Chicago and loves Chicago and I love Chicago. So here we go.” [H/T wrestletalk]

Former WWE Superstar Miro pushed to make an appearance at All In

Before his wife appeared at All Out, Miro (FKA Rusev) had his moment with Powerhouse Hobbs at All In almost two months ago, but this almost did not happen.

According to a report by Fightful Select, Miro, and Hobbs' contract signing went down at All In simply because the Bulgarian star wished to be there. He reportedly pleaded with Tony Khan to be included in the greatest wrestling show in history, and a compromise was made.

Ultimately, the former WWE Superstar got to be a part of history, as his segment was done during All In's Zero Hour show.

Now CJ Perry and Miro are intertwined in a story where they aren't working alongside each other but will always seem to be crossing each other's paths whether they like it or not.
