Major AEW star Ricky Starks hasn't performed in the company since March 2024. There is no update on when he'll return to action in the promotion. He recently showed up on the independent circuit and was set to make a big appearance outside All Elite Wrestling. However, the Tony Khan-led management has seemingly pulled him from the event.

The Absolute shocked GCW fans by making a surprise appearance at Dream On 2024 this past Saturday. He was scheduled to face Matt Cardona at GCW: Highest in the Room on December 14. However, AEW has pulled him from the event.

GCW's Effy recently took digs at the All Elite Wrestling President and his father, Shahid Khan. Hence, many believe this could be the reason why Khan prohibited Starks from performing in the popular wrestling promotion. Meanwhile, wrestling fans were upset that Tony Khan pulled the former FTW Champion from the upcoming Game Changer Wrestling event.

"As if TK picking up the one-year option wasn't enough... Dude about to bury his image and his company," a user tweeted.

AEW's Ricky Starks has been pulled from all upcoming GCW appearances

GCW only announced Ricky Starks vs. Matt Cardona for Highest in the Room 3 in Los Angeles. But they had booked him for multiple appearances. He was also slated to have matches on December 28 in Seattle and January 19 at the Hammerstein Ballroom, which have now been canceled.
