The Young Bucks unleashed a brutal attack on a top AEW star and handcuffed him. They also left another star bloodied at Summer Blockbuster 2025. This was hard for the fans to watch.
Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland’s match ended in a draw, and before they could take it further, out came the Death Riders to distract the two. It was then that the Executive Vice Presidents, the Young Bucks, came out and attacked Swerve.
They hit the EVP Trigger and handcuffed Strickland to the ropes. They then used the same spiked shoes that Strickland used to take them out at Anarchy in the Arena. Just as they were about to hit him with a superkick, Will Ospreay showed up and took one on the chin to save Swerve Strickland, getting bloodied in the process.

This prompted a doctor to immediately run to the ring to check on the former New Japan Pro-Wrestling star as a shocked Young Bucks looked on in disdain. With such a save, it will be interesting to see how Swerve Strickland’s reaction will be towards Will Ospreay and also towards Hangman Adam Page.
With all that has transpired today at AEW Summer Blockbuster, the time might be near for Swerve Strickland to put his feelings aside and side with both Will Ospreay and Hangman Adam Page to save AEW.
