AEW recently signed a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. Despite this milestone, the company suffered a small setback as it had to cancel an upcoming show.
The company launched Collision last year to provide an opportunity for several of its talent who don't feature predominantly on Dynamite to compete on television. Since its launch, the brand has been fairly successful.
The company had planned the upcoming live taping of Collision on December 7 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. However, the arena has confirmed on its official website that the show has since been canceled and no further details were provided or known as of this writing.
"The AEW (ALL ELITE WRESTLING) event originally scheduled for December 7 at Nationwide Arena has been cancelled," read the statement on the arena website.

All Elite Wrestling has come a long way since it launched in 2019. The company has expanded its roster size to include major international stars like Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada. The Jacksonville-based promotion also expanded its weekly lineup of shows from Dynamite to include Rampage in August 2021, and Collision in June 2023.
AEW Collision experienced a viewership drop this past week
AEW Collision has been one of the company's top shows and has featured several of the promotion's massive stars. While the Saturday night show does not draw the same level of viewership as Dynamite, it still does enough to garner interest from fans.
However, according to Wrestlenomics, last week's episode of Collision saw a decline in viewership as the count dropped to 332,000 from the previous week's 349,000. Despite this, the show saw a slight increase in the ratings from .09 to 0.10 among the key 18-49 demographic.
It will be interesting to see if Tony Khan will be able to boost the viewership of Collision in the coming weeks.
