A WWE personality almost namedropped AEW before being cut off by Booker T during a major star's appearance on NXT. This would be Vic Joseph, who was reacting to the arrival of Ethan Page.

Following the main event, Trick Williams was confronted by Lash Legend, who talked about how a mystery assailant took out Noam Dar and Oro Mensah of the Meta-Four.
Before the NXT Champion could say anything, he was blindsided by Ethan Page, who was making a statement during his debut appearance. The former AEW star then took the credit, saying he took out Noam and Oro before continuing his assault on Williams and confirming his intentions of going after the NXT Championship.

Vic Joseph and Booker T, who were working on commentary, were reacting to the events. Joseph was in shock and was about to mention that Ethan Page had previously been with AEW before the Hall of Famer cut him off.
A clip of this can be seen below:
Page would be the second former All Elite star to debut in NXT this year alone, after Shawn Spears returned in February. It remains to be seen if anyone else also decides to jump ship to WWE.

If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
