WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has lavished high praise on IWGP World Champion Jon Moxley for his passionate promo on the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite.

After his IWGP World Title win at the recent NJPW Windy City Riot event, Jon Moxley returned to AEW TV after over a month. The Lunatic Fringe opened this week's Dynamite with a passionate promo about achieving the dream he had in mind for the past few years, also spreading some positivity after a wild last week for the company.

Speaking on the most recent edition of Busted Open, Bully Ray praised Moxley's promo and claimed that it brought some positive energy to the promotion.

"That's the kind of promo you want; that's the kind of ra-ra speech you want surrounding your company; that's the positive energy you want in your building. [Jon] Moxley was a great spokesperson for AEW tonight, who talked about how he was told that it could not be done and that the IWGP championship could never be his, but he never listened to the naysayers. Just like AEW has to listen to the naysayers these days," he said. [2:13-2:57]

WWE Legend lauds Jon Moxley for claiming the IWGP World Title

Last week, Jon Moxley scripted history as he became the first wrestler to claim the world titles in WWE, AEW, and NJPW.

During the same podcast, Bully Ray applauded The Purveyor of Violence on his IWGP World Heavyweight Title win, adding that not many Americans have claimed the prestigious championship.

"Moxley said that for the past couple of years, all he wanted was that IWGP Championship, and he never quit; he never died, scratching and crawling to victory. How long will Moxley's championship reign last? I don't know, but not many Americans get a shot at that championship or to hold that championship,'' he said. [2:58-3:24]

Meanwhile, Moxley will lock horns with Powerhouse Hobbs on next week's edition of AEW Dynamite. It will be interesting to see how the dynamics will play out when the duo square off next week.
