The Money in the Bank match and premium live event are among the promotion's most iconic creations. The ladder bout usually features six participants competing for the MITB contract, which grants the winner a title shot at any moment in time for up to a year.
Earlier tonight, before the men's match, WWE aired a video showing the statistics of the iconic match, its past winners, and the competitors who were gunning for the contract this year.

Cope has a great history with the match, as he is the inaugural winner of the Men's Money in the Bank briefcase. Apart from successfully cashing in the contract, he has featured more than once in this iconic match type over the years. However, he was not included in the video package. Not even a cameo was given to the veteran.
This was not the first time that a former WWE Superstar was omitted from a notable video package. However, Cope's exclusion shocked many because of his history with the MITB Ladder Match.

He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Studies, which influenced his decision of taking up sports writing professionally, and has been an avid fan of the athletic theater since childhood. He believes readers deserve authentic and unique content and aims to report in a manner which pro wrestling fans can easily relate to.
Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
Other than pro wrestling, Enzo enjoys keeping up with Basketball, Football, and Formula One. He also loves watching films, playing video games, and listening to music.
