AEW is the land of factions. Groups such as the Death Riders, the Hurt Syndicate, the Elite, and more treat the promotion as their playground, and fans thoroughly enjoy their segments on Dynamite and Collision.
Interestingly, a few days back, Ricochet expressed the desire to form a new faction because he is well aware that he needs people to have his back. In fact, he believes that his chances of winning gold are greater if he has a group.
Unfortunately, there is no new information or reports on this potential stable. However, the list of names he could recruit is massive. He can begin by adding former FTW Champion Brian Cage. Cage is a genetic freak and could easily protect the former WWE star from harm.
Cage is currently a member of the Don Callis family, but since this faction already has so many members, it will be wise for him to join a new group. The 268 lb star is currently sidelined due to injury. When he returns, Tony Khan must consider giving him a new character and storyline. After all, the Machine has the look and abilities of a megastar.
AEW star Ricochet reveals why he does not wrestle on the independent circuit
Several top All Elite Wrestling stars, such as Mercedes Mone and Jon Moxley, are active on the independent wrestling scene, but not Ricochet. He only performs for the Tony Khan-led company, and his reason for this is simple. Other promotions can't afford his fee.
"No one can afford my fee," he said.
Ricochet is currently one of AEW's biggest names. His heel work has been convincing, and every time he is in the square circle, he gets showered with boos by the fans in attendance. Tony Khan has immense faith in him, and hopefully, he will soon be booked as a champion.
