The latest update on Bryan Danielson's status following his full-time retirement from the ring almost a month ago has just surfaced. Although it was previously stated that he was set to have surgery, this may not be the case anymore.
The American Dragon revealed a few months ago that he had certain neck issues that he needed to address, which would potentially require surgery. He has hinted at doing so before the year ends, as this even affected him during some of his matches in AEW.
Fightful Select has just reported that Bryan Danielson hopes to avoid surgery and is instead attempting stem cell treatments to remedy his condition. He mentioned after his match with Kazuchika Okada last month that he could feel the adverse effects of his condition, but the hope remains that he'll be able to avoid surgery and simply rehab his injury.
Brie Garcia recently showed a glimpse of Bryan Danielson's life after retirement
After dropping the AEW World Championship at WrestleDream last month, Bryan Danielson has officially retired from full-time competition. He has mentioned wanting to spend more time with his family and has now gotten the chance to do so.
During a recent edition of the Nikki & Brie Show, his wife Brie Garcia (FKA Brie Bella) shared a hilarious story about how they ordered chickens but were not on the same page regarding this. Bryan did not think she was serious about this and was shocked to find chickens outside their house.
"Bryan is making the kids breakfast; we're all giggling and having fun. I'm like, 'Oh, did the chickens ever come?' Bryan looks at me, 'You were serious?' 'Yeah, I was being serious.' 'Brie, I have no idea.' 'What do you mean you don't know? Are there chickens or not?' We're looking through the window, and I see a white chicken. 'Bryan, there are chickens!' He looks at me, and you see the fear in his face," Brie Bella recalled. [H/T: Fightful]
It remains unclear whether the former WWE Champion will return to the ring, even as a part-timer. With him currently focusing on his health issues, this may not happen anytime soon.
