Massive rumor killer on Britt Baker leaving AEW to join WWE

A huge update on the current Britt Baker situation has just come out. She has been one of the main talking points on social media recently as there were massive speculations on her future in the pro wrestling industry. Due to her lengthy absence, fans have been wondering if she had left AEW and moved on to her next destination, WWE.

Britt's current absence has indeed raised many eyebrows. She last was seen on Dynamite in November 2024. While The DMD switching to WWE rumor was already circulating on social media, WWE veteran Jonathan Coachman made a huge claim regarding it. He reported that Britt Baker was no longer All Elite and had signed a deal with the global sports entertainment juggernaut.

However, this statement by the WWE veteran doesn't seem to be true. According to Fightful, the former AEW Women's World Champion is still under an AEW contract and will be All Elite until 2026, if any injury time isn't included. Meanwhile, WWE hasn't reportedly talked to Britt Baker regarding a deal.

It was also reported that AEW doesn't have creative plans for Baker as of now. It will be interesting to see when will the former AEW Women's World Champion return to the Jacksonville-based promotion as she hasn't been seen in the company for over several months now.
