AEW: Collision, the highly anticipated event by All Elite Wrestling, is generating significant buzz among fans. Yet, the status of CM Punk's participation remains an unanswered question.

AEW: Collision was unveiled for June 17, but CM Punk's role and the venue were not disclosed, sparking speculation of a fallout. Tony Khan's decision regarding Ace Steel caused issues, resulting in Punk's omission from the announcement. However, Punk and Khan maintain a solid relationship.

While five cities were announced, the debut show's location remains a mystery. The United Center in Chicago is a rumored choice, with Daily's Place as a backup option. Attempts are underway to resolve the situation, keeping the door open for Punk's involvement in All Elite Wrestling.

On the latest Haus of Wrestling podcast episode, Grapsody's Righteous Reg dismissed rumors about Daily's Place as a backup plan for Collision.

“So, we’re all under the impression that CM Punk was gonna be the leader of this show, and then immediately it’s like, ‘Oh, well, actually, maybe he might not be. And then some fake rumors come out about Daily’s Place, and the United Center, and all this stuff going on but it seems as though, we’re all systems go. Tomorrow, they should be announcing that they’re going to have the first collision at the United Center,” Reg said.

When asked about the Daily's Place rumor, Righteous Reg confidently dismissed it as baseless speculation.

“That’s nothing. I went myself in search for the answer to this, and there was nothing to that rumor. That’s just some random person online getting to Dave Meltzer, and kind of getting this rumor started up. That’s a nothing rumor.” [H/T - Haus Of Wrestling]
