3 WWE Superstars that are likely going to renew their contracts and 2 that likely to leave

At the moment, WWE is struggling to retain its Superstars. Many of them have left and joined another wrestling promotion and it has only increased tensions for Vince McMahon. He is offering a lot of money to those who are renewing their contracts, but this strategy would not work for everybody.

Some Superstars are frustrated with their position in WWE and they don't care about the money WWE is offering. They want to revive their careers and leaving WWE might be the only solution in their sight.

On the other hand, however, there are a few wrestlers who may agree to renew their contracts for the benefits they would receive from WWE. So which WWE Superstar will leave the company which would re-sign? Let's find out.

#5 Will re-sign with WWE: Brock Lesnar

Is it even a shock that Brock Lesnar is still working for Vince McMahon?

Lesnar is a former 2-time Universal Champion and because WWE is still trying to get decent ratings, it's safe to say that Vince would use Lesnar at some point. The Beast has star power and he brings a ton of eyeballs with him. Having won the Money in the Bank briefcase, it's likely Lesnar would win a title soon.

Some rumors stated that Lesnar could retire at WrestleMania 36 but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed that his current WWE contract is going to end during May or June 2020, which makes it impossible for him to retire by next year.

Lesnar often shocks the fans by returning to the WWE constantly, and it wouldn't surprise us if he re-signs a contract again. Lesnar doesn't work full-time but his contract guarantees him a massive amount of money. So why wouldn't he extend his contract again? Considering Vince McMahon would not hesitate to pay more to him.

#4 Will re-sign with WWE: Randy Orton

Randy Orton's contract is going to expire next year in 2020 as he had signed a 10-year deal with WWE in 2010. Even though Orton is one of the most successful wrestlers in WWE, there were some talks of him leaving the company. To some fans, this news was surprising because Orton never had any problems with WWE and, the rumors of him leaving Vince McMahon's company also raised some questions.

But because Orton is still a major attraction in WWE, Vince wouldn't let him leave easily. Orton is past his prime time and WWE doesn't use him often but he still gets paid more than enough. He has created a legacy in WWE and it's unlikely that he wouldn't renew his contract, which would contain a ton of benefits.

#3 and #2 Will leave WWE: The Revival

The Revival have rejected a WWE contract

The Revival had a great run in NXT. They were one of the greatest tag teams of the yellow brand, but that was when they worked for Triple H. Since joining the main roster, WWE hasn't used them correctly.

In the past few months, they worked without a proper storyline which also resulted in them asking for their release in January 2019. WWE didn’t grant their release and asked for 3 months to resolve their problem but failed to do so properly.

In the past few months, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder worked as champions and then as jobbers. Recently, they became on-screen friends with Shane McMahon and now, they have won the Raw Tag Team Titles again. However, this may not be enough for WWE to convince Dawson and Wilder to re-sign with them. Both have already denied renewing their contracts and will likely leave when the time comes.

#1 Will re-sign with WWE: Rusev

Will WWE convince Rusev to stay?

Rusev could have become a major WWE Superstar if the company had done something with the “Rusev Day” gimmick. The fans were behind The Bulgarian Brute and it seemed like WWE is going to push him, but he never received the push he deserved and remained in the mid-card scene. Although he did become a contender for the WWE Championship, it never resulted in him winning the title.

A few weeks ago, a fan advised Rusev to leave WWE when his contract expires, but the former US Championship wasn't so pleased with this. Last year, fans thought Rusev would leave the company but he said: "I'm never ever gonna quit".

Rusev is still getting paid a ton of money by Vince McMahon and it could be a reason why he may end up renewing his contract with WWE. And even if he leaves WWE, it doesn’t guarantee him a more successful wrestling career than he currently has.
