WWE TLC kicked off with the SmackDown tag title defense after we saw Humberto defeat Andrade on the kickoff show. Andrade teased a split with Zelina after the loss.

The New Day (c) vs. The Revival - Ladder Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship

Kofi Kingston and Big E were dominating early in the match as they worked on The Revival. The Revival were back in control as they isolated and took out Big E, sending him into the commentary table. They then turned their attention to Kofi Kingston.

Kofi managed to take out Wilder and Dawson as he springboarded off the rope from a falling ladder to hit Dawson with a DDT followed by a Trouble in Paradise. However, he was caught with the Shatter Machine when he tried to climb off the ladder.

Kofi Kingston climbed up the Ladder but he was bent backward and was not able to get to the titles. Big E climbed up and hit the Big Ending from the top of the ladder.

Scott Dawson tried to grab the titles, but Kofi did a sit up and grabbed the titles to hit Dawson across the head with them and he fell down and bounced off the ladders below.

Result: The New Day def. The Revival to retain the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

Buddy Murphy vs. Aleister Black

Buddy Murphy disrespected Black with a slap followed by a knee. He then took down Murphy with an armdrag and focused on his arm. Murphy hit another elbow to the side of the face of Black, but he hit back with a kick to the mid-section and then a high kick to bring down Murphy.

Aleister Black dodged one move and then another before he hit the The Black Mass and just like that, the match was over.

The Viking Raiders (c) vs. The OC - RAW Tag Team Championship match

The OC went home empty-handed

The Viking Raiders were out and threw down the gauntlet for the RAW Tag Team titles. The OC answered the challenge and the match commenced.

Anderson hit Ivar with an elbow and he slammed down Anderson and then Erik tagged in and slammed Ivar on top of Anderson. Anderson hit Erik with a Spinebuster. They were isolating Erik as Gallows came in and went to work on him.

The OC took the Viking Experience and Gallows broke up the pinfall. He hit a Double Handed Chokeslam on Erik before the teams took each other out. Both teams were counted out on the outside and the match ended in a no contest.

Result: The Viking Raiders retained via double count-out

The OC were trying to hit the Magic Killer on the table but Erik and Ivar put them through the table instead.

Backstage, The Miz said he had moved his family to an undisclosed location after Wyatt's stunt. He said that this was the most personal match of his entire life.

Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin

Baron Corbin sent his security team after Roman as he made his entrance but Reigns fought them off. The two were fighting at ringside and among the seats before the match returned to the ring where Corbin hit a Deep Six.

Corbin smashed Reigns with a chair in the ring and set it up in the corner. Reigns hit a spear and a Superman Punch but Corbin kicked out. The crowd cheered 'We want tables' and Roman got a table in the ring.

Corbin hit Roman with a can of dog food and choke slammed him through the table. Roman hit a Samoan Drop on the announce table and put Corbin through it. Dolph Ziggler came out from under the ring and took Roman out.

Corbin and Ziggler attacked the timekeeper before they were about to pull the dog food stunt on him too. Roman came in with a drive-by and took Corbin's security with a kendo stick.

King Corbin needed all the help he could get

The Revival now came out to attack Roman with the same kendo stick but Reigns took them out with Superman Punches and then hit a huge dive on all the enemies on the outside.

Ziggler hit him with a chair and then hit the ZigZag and The Revival hit the Shatter Machine on Roman. Corbin hit the End of Days on the steel chair and got the win.

Bray Wyatt vs. The Miz

Wyatt's in-ring personality was unpredictable

Bray Wyatt came out to the FireFly Funhouse theme in his first match as himself and not the Feind since his return. The Miz was dominating early on and Wyatt wasn't even fighting back. Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale and hit an arm stretch and Bray said: "do it!". Wyatt ran into the barricades to get his dislocated shoulder back in and he looked like he was enjoying being hurt.

The Fiend was watching

The Miz sent Bray into the steel steps before Wyatt suddenly looked serious and hit a Sister Abigail on the outside. Wyatt hit the second Sister Abigail in the ring and got the three-count.

The Fiend appeared on the Titantron before Bray said "Okay I'll do it" and brought out a giant mallet and as he was about to hit the Miz, the lights went out and Bray yelled, "he's here".

Daniel Bryan rushed the ring and hit a Running Knee before he took out Wyatt with a big sequence of moves.

As Bryan was about to hit Bray with a mallet, the lights went out and when they came back, Wyatt was gone.

Bobby Lashley vs. Rusev - Table match

Rusev dominated early on

The crowd was chanting 'Rusev Day' and Rusev started off strong as the match went outside. A table came into play and Rusev was hit with a spear in the corner before Lashley set up the table outside.

Lana helped Rusev pick up the win

Rusev got the steel steps and hit Lashley with it before picking up a guardrail and smacking Lashley with it. Rusev was dropped on the guardrail before Lashley used a kendo stick to beat him.

Rusev caught the kendo stick and hit Lashley with it instead. Lana attacked Rusev from behind and caused Lashley to toss Rusev into the table, smashing it to bits.

Result: Bobby Lashley def. Rusev

The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs. Charlotte & Becky Lynch - TLC match for the Women's Tag Titles

Tag titles were up for grabs, literally

Flair and Lynch teamed up to take out Sane early on after Flair took out Asuka on the outside. Lynch tossed Sane onto the announce tables before Asuka attacked the challengers in the ring.

This was one of the best matches of the year

The Kabukis drove a steel chair into Flair's face before Lynch hit Asuka with a ladder. The challengers sent Asuka into the steel post before they set up the ladder in the ring. Sane threw chairs at them and tried to escape under the ring and the challengers dragged her out. Sane sprayed them with a fire extinguisher and Asuka attacked with a bull rope.

Becky Lynch was tied up to a ladder by the two with the bull rope and The Kabukis locked Flair in a chair with a kendo stick before Asuka hit kick after kick. Asuka and Kairi were up the ladder when Flair attacked them with the Kendo stick. Asuka was tossed in the barricades and Becky Lynch was still tied up to the ladder but Charlotte broke her free.

The challengers went berserk on the champs and sent Asuka through a table. Sane hit a double DDT before she stacked both women on a table and leaped on them. Flair managed to get out of the way in time. Flair sent Sane through a table before Asuka hit a German Suplex.

Charlotte was power bombed through a table and Lynch climbed up the ladder in the ring but Asuka used a rope to drop the ladder. Asuka climbed up top and got the win for her team!

Corbin and Reigns came out fighting and Reigns speared Corbin off the stands and into the crowd of security guys that were following them.

A great end to the year with an explosive women's TLC match and an all-out attack on Roman Reigns. Daniel Bryan made his return and Bray Wyatt had his first match as himself which was interesting, to say the least.
