The story of Neon Genesis Evangelion follows a young boy named Shinji Ikari, who is the main protagonist of the series and one of the EVA-01 Pilot that is a giant biomechanical robot which is made to save humanity from Angels which is alien-like beasts. The story unfolds many mysteries and actions.
