Milwaukee Brewers' $310,000,000 American Family Field stadium is unlike any other in North America

The Milwaukee Brewers' home stadium, American Family Field, has a retractable roof and is valued at $310 million by Forbes. It is situated southwest of the intersection of Interstate 94 and Brewers Boulevard and replaced Milwaukee County Stadium when it opened in 2001.

Until 2020, the stadium was known as Miller Park, thanks to a $40 million naming rights deal between Milwaukee and the Miller Brewing Company, which ended during the COVID-stricken MLB season.

A brand-new "414 Menu," named after Milwaukee's area code, is one of the many modifications made within American Family Field.

At all 12 concession stands throughout each level of the American Family Field, you will be able to get $4 junior hot dogs, junior nachos, Cracker Jack, and 16-ounce drinks. In addition, the brewers are decreasing pricing on 15 other food and beverage products this season, including beer, artisan cocktails, popcorn, peanuts, and frozen custard.

New back-of-house electronics, wiring, speakers, and amplifiers are all part of the most recent renovation. The segregated reserve fund of the Southeast Wisconsin Professional Baseball Park District was utilized to finance it, and it exemplifies the kind of upkeep and improvement that were included in the stadium lease.

Last year, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers unveiled a plan that would force the Brewers to renew their lease at the ballpark through 2043, including $290 million in the next state budget for comparable renovations over the next 20 years.

Every Sunday home game, a kid's sausage race takes place on the warning track, where the Famous Racing Sausages compete against one another. Children 14 years old and under are welcome to run the bases on the pitch after the game.

Along with the current 'Brew Crew,' the Brewers are introducing a new spirit squad named the '4-1-Force,' which will spearhead in-game entertainment both on the pitch and in the stands.

Milwaukee Brewers look for a better 2024 MLB season

There's still a good amount of the offseason remaining before Opening Day arrives. While a lot can change in the interim, it's safe to presume that many Opening Day roster places are already taken. But once the season starts, everything is up for grabs.

The Milwaukee Brewers have made it clear time and time again that the Opening Day roster is just good for that one day and that it changes frequently. This is true, as we frequently witness a deal before the second game and the Brewers utilized fifty-nine players in 2018. Besides, many selected for the Opening Day roster will not play through to the end of the campaign.

Most importantly, losing out on Craig Counsel as their manager and the ifs and buts surrounding Corbin Burnes force a team like the Brewers to think big.

They will need to make some signings to compete in a league stacked with brute teams like the LA Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, Phillies, Mets, and Cubs. We will see how events pan out between now and Opening Day.
