Kaleb Ort's struggles continue as Jared Carrabis' trolling takes center stage: "All I did was love you"

'' Kaleb Ort has blocked me on Twitter" - Jared Carrabis

Kaleb Ort, the Boston Red Sox pitcher, has faced a series of challenges in his quest to establish himself as a regular MLB player. Ort has struggled on the field, accumulating a high ERA of 6.59 in the last three seasons.

Adding to his difficulties, he has become the target of persistent trolling from a popular baseball commentator, Jared Carrabis.

Carrabis, a well-known MLB podcaster and devoted Red Sox fan, began his online taunting of Ort last season. Carrabis didn't hold back, labeling Ort "terrible" and demanding his demotion to the minor leagues.

Fed up with the constant abuse, Ort made the decision to block Carrabis on Twitter, aiming to shield himself from further negativity. However, Carrabis seized the opportunity to make fun of Ort once again, sharing a sarcastic video on Twitter titled: "State of the Nation — Kaleb Ort has blocked me on Twitter." He also added in the comments "No. this won’t break me."

But Carrabis wasn't finished there. On "The Name Redacted Podcast," Carrabis further elaborated on the situation in a video titled:

"All I did was love you."

The video shows how Carrabis, perhaps not sincerely, tried his best to support Ort through his struggles and the lead-up to being blocked on Twitter. As the video played, Carrabis displayed a collection of recent tweets in which he perhaps sarcastically hailed Ort as one of the MLB's finest pitchers. Watch below:

Jarred Carrabis' persistent criticism amplifies the challenges faced by Kaleb Ort

Kaleb Ort's latest appearance for the Boston Red Sox on April 25 against the Baltimore Orioles turned into a nightmare. In a mere 0.1 of an inning, Ort gave up five runs, four of them earned, including two home runs. Following this unfortunate outing, the Michigan native was promptly sent back down to Triple-A.

Ort recognizes these struggles as opportunities for growth and is committed to refining his skills and performance. Unfortunately, despite his dedication, Ort has been subjected to persistent trolling by baseball commentator Jared Carrabis, and the situation appears to just get worse and worse.

Ort has struggled to a 7.30 ERA over 12.1 innings with a 12:6 K/BB over 12 appearances and a 1.7 WHIP across 12.1 frames. He is actively working on improving his pitching mechanics and developing new strategies to enhance his performance.

Despite this criticism, Kaleb Ort remains focused on his goals and is determined to prove his critics wrong through continued effort and perseverance. Jared Carrabis' relentless targeting of Ort does make one pause and reflect on the effectiveness and worthiness of such a sustained campaign.
