Steven Kwan recently announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Samantha Moy, and the Cleveland Guardians slugger is now enjoying time with his fiancee. Recently, the couple had a quality outing at a beach.
On Monday, Kwan reposted two Instagram stories of Moy. The first story was a snap of the Guardians star and his fiancee in casual outfits. Kwan's tee read, "You're Only As Cool As You Treat People." Moy wore a black coat with a leopard-printed tee.
In the second Instagram story, the couple was in swimwear. Moreover, it also had a snap of their feet.
Moy had been in a longtime relationship with Kwan and walked the red carpet together before the 2024 MLB All-Star game, which was the left fielder's first appearance.
Moy is private on social media, as evidenced by less than 2K followers on Instagram. However, she is much invested in Kwan's baseball career. She was at the Guardians' postseason games and even accompanied the 2024 All-Star to New York to receive Kwan's third Gold Glove Award.
Steven Kwan announces his engagement to Samantha Moy in style
On Nov. 16, Steven Kwan revealed he had popped the big question to Samantha Moy. In three snaps, posted simultaneously by Moy, the couple looked deeply in love.
The first snap was of the couple casually laughing. In the second snap, they shared a kiss, possibly after the proposal, as Kwan was on one knee. In the final snap, Moy flaunted the engagement ring with an ecstatic facial expression. Funnily enough, Kwan pointed to the ring with a nonchalant facial expression in the snap.
"It was always you Sammy! So excited to continue this journey with you wherever life takes us. Love you eternally and whatever is beyond!" Kwan captioned the post.
In 2024, Steven Kwan delivered his best MLB season in terms of home runs. He hit 14 homers, more than his combined total from 2023 and 2022, where he hit six and five, respectively. However, his RBI count dropped to 44, down from 54 in 2023 and 52 in 2022.
Kwan showcased notable improvement in plate discipline, cutting his strikeouts from 75 in 2023 to just 51 in 2024. His OPS also rose to .793, exceeding the .772 he recorded during his rookie season. Alongside standout performances from Jose Ramirez and Emmanuel Clase, Kwan played a crucial role in leading the team to clinch the American League Central Division title.
