New York Yankees fans won't need to wait long before watching Aaron Judge and the rest of the team take the field for spring training. Spring games will begin on Feb. 24, with the Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners, San Diego Padres and Kansas City Royals set to square off. All 30 teams will hit the field starting Feb. 25.

The New York Yankees are set to begin their spring training schedule on Feb. 25 against the Philadelphia Phillies at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, Florida.

On Tuesday in Tampa, Florida, Aaron Judge and company took to the field at the New York Yankees' training complex. The 6-foot-7 superstar was seen fielding balls at first base, even brandishing a first baseman's glove, much to the enjoyment of Yankees fans everywhere.

"Aaron Judge is not going to play first. He was “just messing around” at first, per Bryan Hoch. Hope that clears things up," Design MLB tweeted.

As per several reports, Judge, along with DJ LeMahieu, Gleyber Torres, Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Aaron Boone were among a group of Yankees who showed up early for spring training.

While Judge would have been a prized addition to the United States during the World Baseball Classic, the reigning American League MVP will sit out of the international competition. Fellow New York Yankees Luis Severino and Nestor Cortes Jr. are among the other Yankees players who will not be representing their countries during the tournament.

A look at Aaron Judge's historic 2022 season

En route to his first MVP award, Judge surpassed Roger Maris for the New York Yankees franchise and the American League's single-season home run record by crushing a career-high 62 long balls.

The slugger also set career highs in RBIs (131), walks (111), runs (133), and even games played (157), as well as in OBP (.425), slugging percentage (.686, and total bases (391).

"Gleyber Torres rocks the Guardians to sleep as the Yankees record the final out and head to the ALCS. Found on Internet and shared here," @HONGSTRONG15 tweeted.

While Judge enjoyed an incredible season for the Bronx Bombers, ultimately, the New York Yankees failed in the postseason, with the Houston Astros sweeping them 4-0. Houston would eventually win the second World Series title in their franchise's history, while the Yankees went back to the drawing board.
