MLB insider Jared Carrabis hailed Boston Red Sox utility player Kike Hernandez for encashing his viral poop tale into a money-making opportunity. Apparently, DUDE Wipes, a personal care brand based in Chicago, collaborated with Kike and sent him flushable butt wipes after Hernandez's 2020 poop tale went viral.

The World Series champion took to Twitter to promote the brand with a picture of him lying on the bed on scores of butt wipes. The MLB world took notice and so did Jared Carrabis.

In no time, Jared quote-tweeted Kike's tweet and hailed Hernandez for turning his on-field fecal faux pas into a business opportunity.

"Kike Hernandez uputting on a masterclass for how to shit your pants and turn it into a sponsorship. Big money moves only."

In the first week of March, Hernandez opened up about an embarrassing poop tale to Justin Turner for a promotional video. Apparently, the funny incident took place during the 2020 NLDS against the San Diego Padres.

Hernandez attempted to pass the wind. However, what he assumed to be a fart resulted in excrement. The mess took place due to a diarrhea-inducing antibiotic that the utility player took due to a tooth infection, leading him to strike out after three pitches.

Boston Red Sox utility player Kike Hernandez is representing Team Puerto Rico in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.

He's playing in WBC for the second time since the 2017 edition, where he won a silver medal.

“It doesn’t get much better than that. Being able to share a field with your peers from your home country, the best of the best, it means a lot to us. We only get to do this every once in a while so every opportunity we get, we try to make the best of it.
"The fact that I'm going to have a little bigger role this time, it’s pretty cool as well. The last time, I didn’t play as much as I would have liked to, but I still had a blast. It was still really special. So the fact that I didn't play didn't take anything away from it," Hernández said to MLB.com.
