Confirming an earlier leak, MLB the Show 23 has released official promotional material for Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa and Satchel Paige among other former MLB stars coming to the game. They will be part of the Legends series.

These players will likely be involved in the Diamond Dynasty part of the game. This is where players can get cards of certain players and build an incredible lineup. They can then face off with other players online and continue trying to build the best team of all time.

MLB the Show 23: When can you play with the new Legends?

MLB the Show is available for players to pre-order now. However, the official release date is set for March 28, which is a little over a week away. On that day, it will hit shelves and digital downloads and will be playable for the first time.

However, players who have Early Access can play as early as March 24. Early Access comes from pre-ordering certain versions of the game.

Those players will have four extra days to play with Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa and others.
