Team Puerto Rico made it to the finals of the last two World Baseball Classics. They have yet to win it all despite being so close. They will most certainly be looking for revenge.

The team will be managed by Yadier Molina, who has just retired from baseball after 19 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals. Being well-respected and knowing how to win big games, he'll have his team ready to go far.

Puerto Rico is led by All-Star infielders Francisco Lindor and Javier Baez. Neither player lets the moment get too big for them. They'll play a big role in any success the team sees in the tournament.

The team is even more dangerous on the pitching front. Jose Berrios and Marcus Strohman headline their starting rotation. They also have All-Star closer Edwin Diaz, who was nearly unhittable in 2022. He'll be pitching with his brother, Alexis Diaz.

It won't be an easy road for Puerto Rico as they play in Pool D. Pool D is comprised of the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Israel, and Nicaragua. The Dominican Republic and Venezuela will make it tough for Puerto Rico to advance.
