For more than a decade, Freddie Freeman has drawn his most profound support for his wife, Chelsea. Parents to three young boys, the Dodgers star took his praise for his better half to Jimmy Kimmel Live.

After winning the World Series shortly before midnight on Oct. 30, Freddie Freeman's Dodgers flew back to LA that night, arriving at 9:30 on Halloween morning. Despite the fact that Freeman had just one World Series MVP, his duties as a dad awaited. Thankfully, Chelsea was there to help prep the boys for trick-or-treating. Freeman told Kimmel:

"I went trick-or-treating the night we flew home. I got to get an ironman setup, the hulk, and spiderman. Thankfully, my beautiful wife helped a lot. So yeah, we went straight into trick-or-treating."

Freeman went on to explain that although there were some trick-or-treaters dressed as him, there were far more Shohei Ohtani impersonators. Regardless, the Dodgers superstar was undoubtedly happy to have some downtime with his family.

"After an incredibly emotional season for Freddie Freeman, the Dodgers first baseman and his family are thanking fans for all their support in a big way. A native of Florida, Chelsea Goff first met Freddie in 2011, when she was a student in her home state. At the time, Freeman had just made his MLB debut for the Atlanta Braves. The pair kept a long-distance relationship while Chelsea finished college and tied the knot in 2014. The pair have three sons - Charlie, born 2016, as well as Brandon and Maximus, born in 2020 and 2021 respectively.

World Series ultimate prize after trying season for Freddie Freeman's family

Freeman's four home runs and 12 RBIs in the World Series was enough for him to win the MVP of the Fall Classic for the Los Angeles Dodgers. A fitting end to a year of struggles, Chelsea recently revealed how much the victory meant to their family, telling US Magazine:

“I’m so proud of him [from] everything that we’ve gone through as a family this year and all of his injuries. He’s Superman actually, but we’re so happy.”

Referring to the health struggles of their son, Maximus, that forced Freddie Freeman to take personal leave over the summer, Chelsea spoke from the heart. Thankfully, Maximus is well on the road to recovery, and his dad is among the most beloved baseball players on earth.
