Phillies legend Jimmy Rollins’ former $10,800,000 Encino mansion captures regal lifestyle with poolside luxury and a 3,000-square-ft roof deck

Jimmy Rollins listed his Encino, California, home for $10.8 million in April 2023. Rollins attempted to sell the house for $11.75 million in 2022. However, after failing to find a buyer, the asking price was reduced, and a buyer was eventually found last April.

Fitted with nine bedrooms and eleven bathrooms, the 11,000-square-foot palace is decked out. Elegant hardwood ceilings encase the main living areas, dipping down to a beautiful double-sided fireplace.

Outside, a lavish pool separates the main building from a guesthouse, which is also equipped with two bedrooms and a pair of bathrooms. The outdoor area also includes some large terraces and a designated children's play area.

Jimmy Rollins' baseball career

Selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2nd round of the 1996 draft, Rollins battled hard in the minor leagues for four seasons before finally making his MLB debut in 2000.

In his first full season of 2001, Rollins hit .274/.323/.419 with 14 home runs, 54 RBIs, and a league-best 46 stolen bases. Rollins won his first All-Star appearance and finished third in the NL Rookie of the Year voting.

With the Phillies in 2007, Jimmy Rollins hit .296/.344/.531 with 30 home runs, 90 RBIs, and a league-best 20 triples. Rollins was awarded the NL MVP Award for his impressive numbers.

In 2014, Rollins was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Already 36 years of age, Rollins would see his offensive output drop off considerably. He retired as a member of the Chicago White Sox after appearing in 41 games during the 2016 season.
