According to SNY's Andy Martino, the Toronto Blue Jays are ready to make the biggest offer Juan Soto has seen this offseason. The only reason Soto could deny it could be the city, but if they make it more personal and invite some personalities down there, they could have a chance of landing the superstar outfielder.

Amid Soto's sweepstakes, the Blue Jays announced a Kendrick Lamar concert to be held in June at Rogers Centre. It comes as a surprise, as Toronto is known to be Drake's hometown, a longstanding rival of Lamar.

Some tied the announcement with the Blue Jays trying to land Juan Soto, which resulted in hilarious reactions.

"Has anyone seen Juan Soto’s Spotify wrapped???," one fan asked if Soto likes Lamar's rap songs.

"This might convince Juan Soto," another wrote.

"Fk that it’s straight setup," one fan seemed to have connected dots.

"Soto will be watching," another fan added.

Some fans felt sorry for the hometown singer Drake.

MLB insider reports Blue Jays to be top bidders for Juan Soto

The Blue Jays-Juan Soto buildup comes after MLB Network Radio's Jim Duquette had reported on Monday that the franchise could make the biggest bid.

"You can't rule out the Blue Jays," Duquette said on MLB Network Radio. "I've heard from many people that they think Toronto is going to be the highest bidder."

According to New York Post's Jon Heyman, the Blue Jays had an "impressive" meeting with Juan Soto on Nov. 15. Four other teams are also in the race: the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox and the LA Dodgers.

Up until last week, Boston was reportedly leading Soto's sweepstakes, but as a decision nears, teams are upping the offer in hopes of landing the highly sought-after free agent.
