What did Alek Manoah say to Adam Frazier? Blue Jays pitcher involved in heated clash before being pulled

Alek Manoah tells Adam Frazier to keep walking towards the dugout in the sixith inning of the game

The Toronto Blue Jays are in the news again. This time it is because their pitcher Alek Manoah was involved in a heated clash with Baltimore Orioles' Adam Frazier before being pulled from the game.

The whole incident took place on Saturday afternoon at the Rogers Center during the sixth inning of the game. Alek Manoah was pitching to Adam Frazier. He managed to strike Frazier out due to the fact that he did not check his swing. While the umpire ruled that it was a strikeout, Adam Frazier did not agree with the call. This led to a heated interaction between Alek Manoah and Adam Frazier. Apparently, Manoah told Frazier to keep walking toward the dugout.

A major reason for this heated interaction between these two players is probably because of the Wild Card round for the 2022 playoffs. Adam Frazier, then playing for the Mariners played a role in their Game 2 win. Perhaps that created bad blood between the two players.

Another reason could be the tension that existed between both teams. Both teams were trying to win the game which might have led to the heated interaction.

It is expected that players will control their tempers so that such heated exchanges can be prevented in future games.

Alek Manoah of the Toronto Blue Jays had to be removed on Saturday due to a blunder on the part of manager John Schneider.

Right after Manoah had heated words with Adam Frazier, Blue Jays manager John Schneider came out to the mound to help focus his attention back on the game. However, he forgot that pitching coach Pete Walker had visited Manoah earlier in the inning and visits to the mound can be done only once per inning. This led to Manoah getting pulled from the game.

The Orioles went on to win the game while the Blue Jays have now lost five of their past six games against their AL East rivals. They conclude the series against the Orioles on Sunday.

John Schneider is expected to learn from his mistakes and not take any actions in the future that might harm his team in the long run.
