When it comes to fan engagement, MLB Immaculate Grid is one of the hottest games on the market. Linked to Baseball Reference, the grid is every baseball nerd's dream.

The 3 x 3 Immaculate Grid follows a simple format. Each day, a new edition is dropped. To be successful, users must use the clues to populate the nine squares with names of relevant MLB stars, past and present.

On Sept. 22, Immaculate Grid asked users to name players who have recorded 3000 or more hits and have played for Cleveland. While no player has ever hit that milestone exclusively in an Indians uniform, let's take a look at some possible answers.

The Cleveland Indians franchise hits record belongs to infielder Nap LaJoie, who recorded 2047 of his 3243 career hits in Cleveland. A four-time hits leader, LaJoie's popularity led the team to change their name from the Cleveland Bronchos to the Napoleons (after LaJoie's French heritage).

In 1904, LaJoie had one of the best seasons in Cleveland baseball history. In addition to leading the league in hits, runs, and homers, LaJoie hit 376/.413/.546, leading the league in all three categories.

In 1977, first baseman Eddie Murray broke into the league for the Baltimore Orioles. After the 21-year-old hit .283/.333/.470 with 27 home runs and 88 RBIs, he was named the AL Rookie of the Year. Murray only spent two seasons with the Indians, 1994 and 1995. In that time, he hit .289/.339/.471 with 38 home runs and 158 RBIs. By the time Murray retired after the 1997 campaign with the Los Angeles Dodgers, he had 3255 hits to his name, 251 of which came during his time with Cleveland.

1939 Hall of Fame inductee Tris Speaker registered 3514 hits throughout his 22-year career, 1965 of which came during his 11 seasons with the Cleveland Indians. Known for both power and speed, Speaker came to Cleveland after winning the 1912 AL MVP Award as a member of the Boston Red Sox. Speaker stole 436 bases and hit 792 doubles in his career, the latter an all-time MLB record.
