The Padres and Brewers will battle in the rubber match to determine the winner of their three-game set. Milwaukee clutched the game away from the hands of San Diego on Saturday after Caleb Durbin's solo walk-off home run lifted the home squad past the NL West juggernauts.
San Diego started off the scoring through Elias Diaz's RBI-single in the fourth inning. Milwaukee then answered back and took the lead heading into the ninth after Jake Bauers, Rhys Hoskins, and Isaac Collins each recorded RBI. Luis Arraez then tied the game for the Friars with a two-run double before Durbin put the game away for the hosts.
All-Star Freddy Peralta will start opposite Friars reliever Ryan Bergert who will be making his second career start in Game 3.

Padres vs. Brewers recent form and records
With the Game 2 loss, San Diego's record fell to 36-27. In spite of this, the team remains within shouting distance of the NL West lead after the Dodgers' consecutive losses.
Milwaukee, on the other hand, continue their charge up the ranks as they're now just two games behind the wild card spots after winning eight of their last 10 games. They've also solidified their record at home this year to 19-11.

Padres vs. Brewers picks and game prediction
The Brew Crew are heavily favored heading into Game 3, thanks in large part to the difference in caliber of the starting pitchers between the two sides. Still, the Friars are a playoff contending team so the game should be a nip-and-tuck battle for series supremacy.
