Baseball is a kid's game, and nobody knows that better than Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The young All-Star can always be seen on the field, playing the sport he loves with a big smile on his face.

On Saturday, he noticed a young fan holding up a sign announcing that he had recently beaten cancer. Guerrero Jr. instructed a Blue Jays staffer to give one of his bats to the young fan.

It was truly a special moment. This is what sports are all about. It's easy to forget over the course of a long season, but this is a family-friendly sport. It was designed to be fun and bring people together.

It's great to see MLB have so many role models that young fans can admire. Undoubtedly Guerrero Jr. made a bunch of new fans with his heartfelt actions during Saturday's game.

"It's a kid's game! Love it" one fan tweeted.
"What it's all about!" another fan tweeted.

Fans can't get over how incredible the moment was. The Toronto Blue Jays have a good one in Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

No matter which team you root for, you can't argue how special this moment was. That kid will never forget this day. It will be something that he can carry with him for the rest of his life.

Can Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s gesture bring the Toronto Blue Jays good fortune?

The Toronto Blue Jays have hit a bit of a rough stretch. They've lost five of their last six games. They struggled against the New York Yankees and haven't been able to slow down the Baltimore Orioles.

Toronto currently finds themselves in last place in the American League East. They're 8.5 games back of the league-leading Tampa Bay Rays, who don't seem to be slowing down.

Toronto isn't playing terrible baseball. The AL East is just a dominant division. Every team in the division, including the Boston Red Sox, looks competitive.

The Blue Jays can't let this slump continue. They need to finish out the Baltimore series with a win and take some games from the Rays, who they play next week.
