NBA: 3 All-Stars who won Championships with multiple teams

Winning an NBA title in itself is a huge achievement and is a dream for every basketball player, to get their hands on the most prestigious Larry O'Brien trophy and bring it home. The trophy is the reason why the players spend hours at the gym, follow strict food diet and sacrifice so many things in their life.

There are some players in the NBA history who played a key role donning two different jerseys while winning the titles. These players played a huge part and won trophies on multiple teams. Let us take a look at three All-Stars won titles with multiple teams.

#3 Shaquille O'Neal

Shaquille O'Neal was selected by the Orlando Magic with the first overall pick in 1982. He started dominating the league right from his rookie season and won the Rookie of the Year in 1983 after averaging 23.4 points, 13.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game over the season.

Although he got the Magic on his back to the finals in 1995, the Orlando Magic could not win in the finals after getting swept by Hakeem Olajuwon and the Rockets. However, once he came to the Los Angeles Lakers in 1996, he changed the franchise's fate forever teaming up with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers won three-straight titles(2000-02). He dismantled the opposition teams single-handedly with his height and strength.

O'Neal was traded to the Miami Heat in 2004 and teamed up with Dwayne Wade. Only in his second season with the Heat, he led the team along with D Wade to an NBA title and averaged 18.4 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in the finals. This was the Heat's first ever NBA championship.

Shaq's jersey number 34 was retired by the Los Angeles Lakers and the number 32 he wore in Miami was retired by the Heat. He was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2016.

#2 Dennis Rodman

Dennis Rodman was known for his ability to get rebounds

Dennis Rodman is one of the most iconic basketball players of all-time. He was particularly known for his ability to get rebounds and is a seven-time consecutive rebounding champion(1992-1998). He was also a terrific defender and won the Defensive Player of the Year, twice(1990-1991).

After getting selected by the Detroit Pistons in 1986, he became their most important player very quickly and helped the Pistons to two NBA titles in 1989 and 1990. Rodman knew his role and always played it to perfection.

Rodman also won three NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls(1996-98), making him a 5-time NBA champ. He averaged 15.3 rebounds in those three seasons and used his rebounding prowess to help the team.

His jersey #10 was retired by the Detroit Pistons and was later inducted into the Hall of Fame in the same year.

#1 LeBron James

LeBron James has been playing at an insane level ever since he entered the league. He carried a very subpar Cavaliers team to NBA Finals in 2007 but got swept in the finals to the San Antonio Spurs. He made it clear that winning a title was his main goal and left the Cavaliers team to form a Big 3 in Miami along with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.

The trio went to four straight finals and won two NBA titles. LeBron took home the Finals MVP trophy on both the occasions after putting up monster numbers. After an unbelievable four-year run in Miami, he came back to Cleveland and delivered on the promise by winning it all in 2016.

The Cleveland Cavaliers came up from 1-3 down in the finals to win their first NBA title. This was the first time in the history of NBA that a team rallied back after being down 1-3 in the finals. After eight straight finals appearances, LeBron James turned the league upside down when he decided to join the Los Angeles Lakers in the free agency. He will definitely be looking to bring a title home to LA.
