Following months of thrilling action, the 2019-20 NBA season is heading towards its conclusion. While the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks appear set to finish at the top of their respective conferences, several teams are jostling to secure homecourt advantage, while there is also a battle to secure the final playoff spot in the West. As always, injuries will play a role over the final weeks of the regular season, and here we will take a look at all the latest injury updates you need to know.

#1 Giannis Antetokounmpo - Knee - Out for at least one more game

Giannis missed Sunday's loss to the Phoenix Suns

Giannis Antetokounmpo sustained a left knee injury during Milwaukee's defeat to the Lakers on Friday. The reigning MVP underwent an MRI scan which revealed a minor capsule sprain, and Giannis will be reassessed ahead of the Bucks' game against the Celtics on Thursday.

#2 Jaylen Brown - Hamstring - Could return this week

Jaylen Brown has missed Boston's last three games due to a hamstring injury that he sustained against the Brooklyn Nets just over a week ago. However, Brown told MassLive that his recovery was coming along well and is aiming to return at some point this week.

#3 Seth Curry - Ankle - Expected to return this week

Seth Curry missed Dallas' game against the Pacers due to an ankle injury

Seth Curry left the court during Dallas' game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. The injury kept Curry out the Mavericks' game against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, although head coach Rick Carlisle has stated that the guard's injury isn't serious, and Curry is expected to return at some point this week.

#4 Derrick Rose - Ankle - Expected to miss at least another week

Amid his resurgent season, Derrick Rose injured his ankle against the Sacramento Kings last Sunday. Rose underwent an MRI scan which came back negative, although Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports is reporting that the 2011 MVP will miss 'weeks' as the Detroit Pistons are taking a 'cautious approach' to his injury.

#5 Kevon Looney - Hip - Out for at least three weeks

Kevon Looney has struggled with injuries for much of the season, featuring just 20 times for the Golden State Warriors. A hip injury has recently sidelined Looney and the Warriors have announced that the 23-year-old will miss the next three weeks as they search for a 'full resolution' to his injury woes.

#6 Draymond Green - Knee - Expected to return this week

Draymond Green has missed Golden State's last five games due to a knee injury. However, the 30-year-old underwent an MRI on his left knee last week which revealed that he has no structural damage - and the guard will likely return at some point over the next seven days.

#7 Malcolm Brogdon - Thigh - Week-to-week

Malcolm Brogdon tore his left thigh during Indiana's defeat to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. However, Brogdon won't require surgery and the Pacers are listing the 27-year-old as week-to-week.

#8 Karl-Anthony Towns - Wrist - Out for at least two more weeks

Karl-Anthony Towns has been out since Feb. 10 due to a wrist injury. Towns was believed to be closing in on a return to the court, although the Timberwolves announced on Friday that the center will miss at least another two weeks. However, the 24-year-old isn't expected to undergo surgery and should return at some point this season.

#9 Jusuf Nurkic - Leg - Targeting March 15 return

Jusuf Nurkic has yet to take to the court this season after suffering multiple fractures to his leg back in March 2019. However, Nurkic has stepped up his return over the past month, and the center told Yahoo Sports that he is aiming to make his season debut against the Houston Rockets on March 15th.

#10 Clint Capela - Heel - Should return before the end of the season

Clint Capela has yet to feature for the Atlanta Hawks following his trade from the Houston Rockets due to a right heel injury that has impacted him since late 2019. Nevertheless, the 25-year-old was cleared for impact activity last week - and is confident that he will return at some point over the next month.
