The opening day of the BGMI Multiverse Series Grand Finals wrapped up with Orangutan Gaming sealing the prime position with 77 points. The club looked brilliant throughout the sixth match and also picked up one Chicken Dinner. AKOP and Wizzgod from the roster ranked first and third with 15 and 13 kills, respectively, in the top fraggers chart.

Global Esports maintained their thumping performance as in the Semifinals and ended up in second place with 76 points. The squad pulled off a 27-point victory in the first game. Beast, their rising star, dismissed 14 enemies alone in six matches. The Mavi-led squad has shown impressive improvement in their gameplay in the last few weeks.

Hydra Esports enhanced their play on Day 1 of the Grand Finals and seized third position with 57 points. The renowned club had an average run in the Semifinals, but finally found their signature form. They grabbed an emphatic 21-point Chicken Dinner in the second match.

Team XSpark, who somehow reached this Finale, played well on Day 1 and scored 53 points despite not having any Chicken Dinner. The DreamS-led team will be looking to start the year strong by earning a podium at this BGMI event. Recently, the organization recruited BGMI pro Ninjajod in the lineup.

Team Tamilas seized sixth place with 50 points, including 21 eliminations. The side dominated the Semifinal stage and will now aim to replicate their same phenomenal performance in the Finale as well. Medal and TWM Gaming were in seventh and eighth positions with 48 and 46 points, respectively.


Reckoning Esports, led by BGMI Star Punk, and Entity Gaming showcased modest performances on Day 1. They scored 36 and 33 points to their respective name. Team 8Bit was behind them with 32 points.

GodLike Esports failed to start the Finale on a high note as they secured only 32 points on the opening day. The Jelly-led squad will need to be consistent to gain a respectable position in the tournament. However, there are 24 matches still left in the BGMI event.

Team Soul took 31 points and ranked 14th after six games. The Manya-led squad claimed 19 eliminations and 12 position points on Day 1. The fan-favorite club was the third best performers in the Semifinals. Chemin and Revenant were behind them in 15th and 16th positions, respectively.
