On October 24, 2023, Gods Reign announced that it had signed BGMI star Mohammed Owais Lakhani for the India vs Korea Invitational tournament. The team recently finished fifth in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. With the latest addition to their roster, they will be looking to dominate in the upcoming event.
A few hours after Enigma Gaming bid farewell to Owais, Gods Reign announced his signing, saying:

Mohammed Owais Lakhani has been in the esports scene since late 2018 and has clinched many titles while playing for different teams. He gained popularity while playing for Team Soul, with whom he won two major titles: the PMIS 2019 and the PMCO Spring 2019.
After his unexpected exit from Team Soul, Owais played for European giants Fnatic and earned the PUBG Mobile All Stars India 2019.
Owais also played for Galaxy Racer in 2021. However, it was an underwhelming stint. Along with his teammates, he formed a new team called Team Forever, which later collaborated with Enigma Gaming.
Owais has not clinched any official PUBG Mobile/Battlegrounds Mobile India event since late 2019.
About BGMI India vs Korea Invitational
After the re-launch of BGMI in May 2023, Krafton announced a friendly tournament between top teams from India and South Korea. The event will be held from October 26 to October 28 in Pragati Maidan, Delhi.
The top eight BGIS 2023 teams and the top eight Korean teams will fight for a total prize pool of $120K (₹1 crore).
Gods Reign had an emphatic run in the recently concluded BGIS 2023. The organization also finished eighth in the BGMS Season 2.
