AJ Storr is an American collegiate basketball guard who transferred to the Kansas Jayhawks in the 2024 season. Storr began his collegiate journey with St. John's despite initially committing to Illinois and receiving 40 D-1 school offers. As a freshman in 2022, he averaged 8.8 points and 1.9 rebounds per game and was named to the 2023 Big East All-Freshman Team according to the Jayhawks website. But after one lone season with the Red Storm, Storr decided to transfer to Wisconsin during his sophomore year. He led the Badgers with 16.8 points ppg and was named to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team. The 6-foot-7-inch guard entered the transfer portal in March 2024 and committed to the Kansas Jayhawks after one season with the Badgers. As of February 2025, Storr has posted 6.0 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.

Before his collegiate journey, Storr attended Kankakee High School for three years before transferring to Bishop Gorman in his junior year. He spent the 2020/21 campaign with AZ Compass Prep and helped them reach the 2021 GEICO National semi-final. For his postgraduate season, Storr played at the IMG Academy, where he averaged 22.8 points per game. Following his prep career, Storr received offers from top Division 1 schools like Kansas, LSU, Illinois, Arizona State, Iowa, Miami, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and a few others. Storr was named the No.84 player in the 2022 recruiting class by ESPN, as per the Badgers website.
