Andrew Carr is a college basketball forward who has entered his final year of eligibility with the Kentucky Wildcats in 2024. Carr began his collegiate journey at Delaware, where he spent two seasons before transferring to Wake Forest University ahead of the 2022-23 season. As a freshman, he averaged 8.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while starting in 10 out of 15 games (via ESPN). The 23-year-old forward led Delaware native to the CAA title in 2022 while averaging 10.0 points and 5.1 rebounds in 28.4 minutes per game. In 2022, Carr decided to transfer to Wake Forest, where he averaged double figures in scoring in both seasons. He enjoyed his best campaign in 2023-24 when he tallied 13.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 35 games. Following the 2023-24 campaign, Carr decided to transfer to Kentucky for his final season of eligibility. As of March 2025, Carr has tallied 10.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 28 games for the Wildcats.

Before his collegiate career, Carr went to the West Chester East High School, where he was a three-year starter on the basketball team. As a senior, Carr averaged 24 points and 10 rebounds and was honored with the All-league and All-area Player of the Year awards according to the Kentucky website.
