He was also named All-League and All-Area Player of the Year in his senior season and was a first-team All-League and All-Area selection in his final two years.

In his second season with the team, he started all 34 games and showcased his skills, averaging 10.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game. In the 2022-23 season, Carr made a significant impact upon joining the Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's basketball team. His outstanding performance on the court earned him the prestigious title of Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Player of the Week. Additionally, Carr's commitment to excellence extended beyond the court, as he was also recognized for his academic achievements, being selected for the ACC All-Academic Team.
