As a freshman, Carson Cooper appeared in 30 games for the Spartans and played 35 games as a sophomore. At Jackson Northwest, where he helped lead the team to the state cup runner-up victory, Carson was named an honorable mention all-state by the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association.
