Davis began his collegiate basketball career at Louisville Cardinals, playing for two years from 2020 to 2022. Throughout his high school career, Davis scored 1,192 points and 516 rebounds and helped his team achieve a 60-14 overall record. He was named to the 2020 IBCA/Subway Supreme 15 Senior Indiana All-State Team and was a finalist for the Indiana Mr. Basketball award.
