Eric Dixon is a college basketball forward for the Villanova Wildcats and plays as a graduate student in the 2024-2025 season. Dixon joined the elite group of only 12 players in Villanova history to score over 1,400 points and register more than 700 rebounds. He was named in the All-BIG EAST Second Team twice during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. Dixon is also the team's scoring and rebounding leader since the 2022-2023 season. In the 2024-2025 non-conference season, Dixon averaged 25.8 points per game, with several career-high performances, including a 38-point game against Maryland. He was notable in the postseason play, notching double-doubles and being a key contributor in the BIG EAST Tournament. As a reserve freshman in 2020, he accounted for 3.0 points and 1.6 rebounds in 21 games for the Wildcats.

He began his basketball career at Abington High School under head coach Charles Grasty and assistant head coach Gary Massey, a former Wildcat. Dixon had a remarkable high school career and was named Pennsylvania State Player of the Year by USA Today. Dixon scored an average of 27.6 points per game during his final year at high school. His Abington Galloping Ghosts career concluded with a 28-2 record. He also scored 50 points against Springfield. Over his high school career, Dixon became the first player in Abington's history to score over 2,000 points. As a junior, he recorded 24 points on an average with 9.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. Dixon was ranked the number 74 forward, as per ESPN, within the Top 100 Prospects of the 2019 batch. He also received a scholarship offer from Villanova University to continue his basketball career at the collegiate level.
