AJ Storr has expressed his commitment to play for the Kansas Jayhawks in the 2024-25 season, weeks after entering the transfer portal.
Storr, who played for one season for Wisconsin, will be the third player to transfer to the Jayhawks after South Dakota State's Zeke Mayo and Florida's Riley Kugel. On3's Joe Topton reported the development on Thursday, citing sources close to the Jayhawks.
The 6-foot-7 wingman chose the Jayhawks over several schools that were interested in securing his services, including Illinois and Arkansas.
Storr's decision to commit to Kansas left the college basketball world divided, with one fan expressing excitement over the development.
Some fans hailed the Jayhawks for securing the services of the trio, believing that they can help propel the team back to contention in the 2024-25 season:

However, not all were impressed with Kansas' latest transfer portal pickup, with one fan claiming the move made sense due to Storr's playing style:

AJ Storr leads Wisconsin to Big Ten Tournament final
AJ Storr's decision to transfer to Wisconsin from St. John's not only boosted his confidence as a player, it also impressed other teams who clamored for his services when he placed his name in the transfer portal once again.
Storr, who averaged 16.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 36 games for the Badgers, shone brightly in the Big Ten Tournament. He dropped 30 in their quarterfinal win against Northwestern, then provided 20 points in an upset of Purdue in the semifinal.
He was equally impressive in the finale against Illinois – scoring 24 points, five rebounds and one assist – but his efforts weren't enough as Wisconsin fell to the Fighting Illini, 93-87.
The Badgers would make the NCAA Tournament but were immediately booted out in the first round by James Madison, 72-61. In this game, Storr was limited to 13 points, on 5-of-14 shooting from the field, four rebounds and one assist.
Storr is expected to bring his scoring ability to the Kansas Jayhawks, who are looking to bounce back from an unimpressive NCAA Tournament, where they were upended in the second round by Gonzaga.
Coach Bill Self will be hoping that the talents he is picking up will help the team return to their glory days and help them win a fifth national championship.
