Maddie guided Ryle to three straight state tournaments from 2017-2019, including the program's first state title in 2019. Maddie averaged 14.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game throughout her high school career, with her most notable season being in the 2018-2019 season when she averaged 16.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 3.7 steals per game. Maddie won the Kentucky State Tournament MVP in 2019. She earned the 2019 and 2020 Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year and was also named the Kentucky Miss Basketball for her remarkable senior year. Maddie graduated as Ryle's all-time record holder in scoring, rebounding, and assists while having a 3.8 GPA and winning the Donna Murphy Award in 2020.
