The USC guard also talked about the 51-point game she had against Stanford last season. She recalled that she had a crazy run where she didn't miss and continued shooting until she reached the point total.

"I went on a crazy run where I just didn't miss. You can't block out everything. You don't see no defenders and you just started shooting," she said.

Watkins also discussed the parts of her game that she wanted to improve for the upcoming season. She pointed out that, as a high-volume shooter, she wanted to improve her range and efficiency.

"I think efficiency is definitely my next step in my game. Being more precise about where I shoot the ball. Range is definitely something that (I want to improve). That's a constant process I'm working on," JuJu Watkins said.

Last season, the 6-foot-2 Watkins played 34 games and averaged 27.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.6 blocks per game. During the tournament, USC defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (first round), Kansas (second round) and Baylor (Sweet 16). The Trojans lost to UConn in the quarterfinals.
