Four-star Syracuse signee Kiyan Anthony has continued to improve day by day as he continues his transition from high school to college ball. The shooting guard, who graduated earlier this month, has been working out a lot lately, preparing for his highly anticipated freshman debut with the Orange.
Kiyan worked out with Jamal "Dash" Lovell of Dash Athletics on Sunday and shared a video on Instagram.
Kiyan hit a step-back 3 and also showed that he has been improving on the defensive end, playing some hard-nosed defense against one of his opponents.
He hit an ankle breaker and a fadeaway shot that was more reminiscent of Kobe Bryant than his father, Carmelo Anthony. This training session got fans talking.
"🏀🪣 getter (That Melo DNA)‼️" commented one fan.
"Kiy getting his weight up🔥," another commenter noted.
"Elite footwork like his dad lol," another one added.
Many fans were impressed.
"Ya know Kiy is too tough for these boys," said one commenter.
"He’s killing them. Dawg mentality. I’ll have to drive to Syracuse’s and witness," one person said.
"He will go crazy next year fs🔥," predicted another.

He worked out with elite basketball trainer Chris Brickley in New York last month.
Kiyan Anthony is not just bringing his dad's basketball skills to Syracuse, but also his mom's fashion acumen
Many expect Kiyan Anthony to help the Syracuse Orange improve after a dismal few seasons. However, he will not just be bringing his dad's name to Upstate New York, but his mom's as well.
La La Anthony is considered a fashion icon and a staple in the New York fashion scene, and she has been a big fashion influence on Kiyan.
He is coming in not just as a four-star prospect, but also as the co-owner of a Harlem-based streetwear brand called "One Way Clothing." He explained his fascination with fashion in an interview with USA Today in April.
“Growing up in New York, I’ve always been around fashion,” Anthony said. “As I got older, I'm just trying to create my own fashion and trying to set my own lane.
He founded the brand with his best friend, Jadyn, and has gotten the full support of both his parents. He added in the interview that he wants the brand to get bigger and wants to get some of his fellow college stars to wear his clothes and represent his brand.
