Wide receiver Kyren Lacy played three seasons for the LSU Tigers. He was set to declare for the 2025 NFL draft and begin his professional career in the league. Unfortunately, Lacy passed away on April 12 following a fatal car crash.
EA Sports College Football 26 has made the game even more special for fans of the LSU Tigers. On Saturday, College Football Alerts stated that the game has decided to pay tribute to Kyren Lacy in a special way.
EA College Football 26 is reportedly putting the wide receiver's signature celebration in the game.

EA College Football 26 is set to be released on June 10. However, fans who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition and the MVP Bundle will get early access on June 7.
The Standard Edition of CFB 26 costs $69.99, and the Deluxe Edition is priced at $99.99. The MVP Bundle includes both CFB 26 and Madden 26. It is priced at $149.99 and is the best option for fans who want to try their hands at both games.
LSU head coach Brian Kelly shares heartbreaking speech during Kyren Lacy's funeral
Kyren Lacy's funeral was held at David Stopher Gymnasium in Thibodaux. It was attended by several of his friends and teammates. LSU head coach Brian Kelly was also present to pay tribute to his former player.
Kelly delivered an emotional speech to talk about his bond with Lacy. He heaped praise on the wide receiver and opened up about his dedication to the game and his character.
"Many times he would be characterized in the media as a hot head," Kelly said. "He just wanted to win. He wanted to be a part of the solution. That's why I loved him so much. I've always talked about him as being too emotional on the sidelines, I loved having my guy next to me, because he was emotional as I was. It was good to have a wingman, I'm gonna miss my wingman."
Kelly and Lacy spent three seasons together at Baton Rouge. The wide receiver had played in 39 total games while tallying 1,692 yards and 16 TDs receiving.
