After coach Nick Saban's retirement, Moore's post announcing his return to the Crimson Tide for another year cheered the glum Alabama fans.

"There’s a lot of new changes. Coach Saban left a great legacy here, but Coach DeBoer, coming here and being man enough to come up here after Coach Saban and kind of take on this job head-on, it’s been really great," said the Alabama safety.

The 22-year-old will captain Alabama as the team starts a new era under coach Kalen DeBoer.

Moore has established himself as an important player under former coach Nick Saban’s guidance since his freshman year debut in 2020. As he returns for the 2024 season with the Crimson Tide, the Alabama defensive back has a special request to EA regarding his in-game representation.

Based on his previous experiences with NCAA video games, Moore longs for accuracy in his virtual avatar this time around, particularly regarding his intricate tattoos.

“It would be cool if they did like an actual scan, though, of all the players in the game," Malachi Moore said. "I think that would be something cool. I really hope they get my tattoos on the game. They get my tattoos on the game man.”

As anticipation builds for the release of College Football 25, fans eagerly await the opportunity to experience the thrill of gameplay.
