Fast X left fans with plenty of questions to answer, as it was initially supposed to be the penultimate movie of the Fast Saga. The movie acted exactly like Avengers: Infinity War from the Infinity Saga, which was setting up the finale event, Avengers: Endgame.

While Fast 11 may not be the end of the franchise since Vin Diesel teased Fast 12, it is supposed to act like Endgame and tie up all the dangling threads from the ending of Fast X. In the final moments of the film, Dominic Toretto and his son find themselves in a pickle as Dante leave them to die.

Their fates hang in the balance, but since they are supposed to appear in Fast 11, it’d be fair to presume that they will survive. The right question to ask is, how exactly will those two make it out alive?

What happened to Dom in Fast X?

In his previous nine Fast and Furious appearances, Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto had literally been death-proof. He found himself in so many situations that should have killed him, but he always defied all the odds and emerged from the ashes in his flying chargers.

This time, he did that with his son as Dante attacked his car with two exploding trucks. However, he somehow saved his son by driving the car down a dam and crashing it into the water while burning debris fell on them. But Dante had a backup plan as he also rigged the whole Dam to blow just in case Dom survived the truck attack.

It was implied that Dom had nowhere left to go, and he couldn’t provide his son with the hope of survival. Viewers almost got to the explosion, but the screen went black, leaving us asking about the fate of Dom and Brian. So, who saves them?

It can’t be Tej, Roman, Ramsey, or Han since they would all be trying to save themselves from their plane cash. It can’t be Letty either because she is stuck in Antarctica trying to make her way back along with Cipher and Gisele. Moreover, neither can it be Jakob as he died for good while sacrificing himself to let Dom and Brian escape. So that only leaves three possibilities.

Who will save Dom and Little B in Fast X?

The first possibility of Dom’s survival is that he’d find a hiding spot and shield Little B behind it, or he’d take the kid and jump back into the water and hope that none of the debris falls on them. That way, he might be able to pull off another miraculous survival.

However, the second possibility is that someone comes flies in to save these two. Viewers saw Luke Hobbs tracking Dante in the end credits scene, but it’s possible that Hobbs saved Dom first and then went after Dante. If not him, then it could be Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw, who only showed up during one segment in the film and then left to “dig up a grave.”

But the most satisfying savior of Dom and Little Brian would be Brian O’Connor himself. Paul Walker's Brian was digitally reconstructed for Furious 7 with the aid of his brothers, Cody and Caleb. So, the same could be done in Fast 11. After all, Mia left Little B and probably went back to O’Connor. So, it’s about time that O’Connor came back to save the day.

If not this, then there’s also a third possibility that involves a sci-fi element. So far, fans have seen this franchise do unimaginable things while trying to make them look believable, including a car being sent to space and superhumans being introduced.

So, what if Fast 11 took a page out of Avengers: Endgame’s book and employed Time Travel? That way, Dom, Little B, Dom’s entire team, and even Jakob could be saved. It is an unbelievable theory, but viewers have seen this franchise leave reality behind long ago. So why not time travel too?

Fast 11 arrives sometime in 2025.
