Fast Bowlers
#8 Liam Plunkett (England)

Liam Plunkett made his England début a dozen years before. However, he was constantly on the outskirts of the International cricket. The tall English bowler did not play a single international game between 2011 and 2015. Nevertheless, the year 2017 has changed everything for him.
The 32-year-old fast bowler has bowled 143 overs in his 18 ODI matches this year. He has taken a record-shattering 36 wickets at an impressive average of 22.47 and a strike-rate of 23.9. The Yorkshire pacer has taken three four-wicket hauls and a five-wicket haul, and is the leading wicket-taker of 2017 so far.
The right-arm fast bowler is also a good lower-order batsman, and a brilliant fielder too. His ventures in ODIs have prompted the English Cricket Board to consider him for the Ashes tour.

#9 Hasan Ali (Pakistan)

The 23-year-old fast bowler is the automatic choice in the ODI XI. Hasan Ali turned around Pakistan's fortunes in the Champions trophy. He took a staggering 13 wickets in the 5 games after a morale-shattering defeat to India in the series opener. His memorable performances in the series helped Pakistan to win the maiden Champions Trophy title. It also helped him to clinch the Player of the Series award.
Ali has played a total of 13 games in 2017 and has taken 31 wickets at an average of 19.64 and a strike-rate of 21.1. He predominately bowls in the death-overs. His economy of 5.57 is decent for any bowler who operates in the final 10. The Peshawar Zalmi paceman rose to number 7 in the current ICC Bowlers ranking after his title-winning display.

#10 Jasprit Bumrah (India)

According to many a cricketing pundit, Jasprit Bumrah is the best bowler for death overs in the shorter formats of the game. His unusual bowling action along with his ability to bowl yorkers and slower-ones makes him lethal.
The Indian pacer has gotten a phenomenal 2017. He has grabbed 29 wickets at an average of 26.51 in the 17 matches he played for India in ODIs and has bowled nine maiden overs. His economy rate of less than 6 this year deserves appreciation because he operates mostly during a phase where batsmen try to dominate bowlers.

Honorable Mentions
1) Bhuvaneshwar Kumar (India) - The 27-year-old fast bowler has done wonders without getting himself into the spotlight. He has taken 20 wickets from his 18 innings. His economy of 4.79 is phenomenal. His pressure building ability at one end has helped Bumrah to take wickets at the other end.
2) Mitchell Starc (Australia)- Recurrent injury has hampered the Australian fast bowler's 2017 stint. He could manage only nine games this year. However, he has taken 18 wickets at an impressive average of 23.16 and a strike-rate of 27.2.
