#2 Varun Aaron

Varun Aaron has been in top form in the domestic circuit after injuries and inconsistency began to affect his international career. He clocked high speeds in the domestic season in the Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy and List A games.

He took 15 wickets in four matches playing for the Jharkhand side in the Ranji Trophy and took 26 wickets in 20 matches in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His nippy bowling with late movement off the pitch and his quick bowling might very well earn him an international call-up, probably even for the World Cup.

#1 Ashoke Dinda

Ashoke Dinda is a cricketer who has been forgotten for a while now. The headband, the jump before the release and extreme energy on the field made him India's strike bowler at one point.

Injuries plagued him and he slowly lost his place to the excellence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Umesh Yadav and later Shami. He has had a great domestic season though and ended up as the highest wicket-taker in the 2017-2018 Ranji Season with 35 wickets from eight matches.

He is zippy and gains excess bounce due to his high release point while his comeback is more unlikely than that of Varun Aaron's. He has carried over his consistency to the shorter formats during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and has picked up 45 wickets in 39 matches with a good economy rate and can be a good backup option due to his attacking bowling style.
